IPTP advised Ponicode in its sale to CircleCI, the continuous integration and delivery pioneer.
Founded in 2019, Ponicode helps developers automatically generate their unit tests. Ponicode’s proprietary AI engine allows developers to automatically ensure test coverage for their code and find issues as the developer is coding, even before the CI.
Ponicode will enable CircleCI to get closer to the developer workflow by shifting left. CircleCI plans to bring some Ponicode capabilities into its own testing platform and will benefit from its machine learning and testing expertise. Ponicode will continue working with a large variety of CI/CD platforms without being limited to CircleCI.
